Position Overview
Goodera is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR), to support our business development efforts for the US market. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and lead qualification. You will work closely with our Sales team to ensure that leads are properly qualified, nurtured, and transitioned into meetings with Account Executives (AEs).
Key Responsibilities:
  • Outbound Lead Generation & Prospecting:
    • Conduct research to identify potential leads in the US market, targeting decision-makers in key industries.
    • Engage with leads through cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to generate interest in Goodera’s offerings.
    • Design and participate in the writing of effective outreach campaigns for both mass outreach and highly curated custom outreach.
  • Collaboration with Cross Functional Teams:
    • Work closely with our GTM and Sales team to  conceptualize campaigns for outbound motion and ensure that leads are properly qualified, nurtured, and transitioned into meetings with Account Executives.
    • Work closely with the Sales team in the US to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads and support follow-up.
    • Continually identify blockers and contribute to improved workflows between teams, resulting in productive working relationships, scaled processes, higher conversion rates, and shorter sales cycles.
  • Qualify Leads:
    • Assess lead interest and needs by engaging in meaningful conversations to qualify prospects based on established criteria.
  • Set Up Meetings:
    • Schedule calls and demos between qualified leads and Account Executives for further discussions and conversion.
    • Be prepared to join discovery meetings as needed to ensure a smooth transition for prospects and incorporate our team-based ethos
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting:
    • Maintain pristine tracking and reporting of all activities and projects through CRM.
    • Analyze data to measure the effectiveness of GTM strategies and make data-driven adjustments.
  • GTM Strategy & Brand Development:
    • Engage in comprehensive GTM initiatives to amplify our brand presence and stimulate demand, including in-person events, webinars, thought leadership, strategic marketing campaigns, and more.
    • Collaborate with the GTM team to design and implement effective demand gen strategies and develop targeted campaigns.
  • Self-Led Development:
    • Be a solutions, product, & industry expert.
    • Exercise comfort in speaking to industry concepts and continually work to deepen your knowledge.
    • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Goodera’s business processes and resources that impact your role.
    • Master your craft and proactively develop your skill set, with guidance and mentorship from your manager.
Job Requirement
  • 2-4 years of SDR experience preferably with B2B industry targeting US Market.
  • A degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience in generating leads for the US market or working in international sales roles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with prospects in the US.
  • Proficient with CRM tools (e.g., Hubspot) and sales engagement tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, etc.). Mastery of standard office software and ability to quickly absorb new tools and processes.
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently while managing a high volume of outreach and follow-ups.
  • Gifted relationship builder and storyteller.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • We have a global team with a global client base. Schedule and workflow flexibility are a must Monday through Friday, with availability to meet before or after standard business hours on an as-needed basis within reason.
  • Standard work timing will range in the zone of 4pm to 2am IST depending on the schedule defined with your manager.
