Role Brief:
As a Manager - Business Development at Goodera, you will spearhead sales initiatives to drive growth and expand our client base. This position will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s business growth through strategic sales initiatives and strong collaboration with senior leadership, particularly with the CXOs (e.g., VP Sales, Chief Strategy Officer, CSR Head and many more) leading end-to-end sales cycles, and crafting impactful proposals and pitches. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to close high-value deals, refine sales strategies, and monitor key metrics to meet or exceed targets. Key Responsibilities:
 Generate new business opportunities for Goodera through cold calling, meetings, networking,
attending industry events, discussion with new prospects, CSR teams and other stakeholders
proactively.
 Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas for new client acquisition, revenue generation, or
other sales goals set by the management.
 Focus on converting leads into closed deals, aiming for continuous improvement in the sales
conversion process.
 Responsible for driving a specific percentage growth in overall revenue for the company by
targeting high-value clients and upselling within existing accounts.
 Secure new accounts per quarter and new opportunities through strategic outreach and
networking.
 Monitor & track sales activities to ensure progress in sales & close cycles to report to Head of
Sales/other stakeholders
 Assist with drafting business proposals & sales pitches, presentations, reference material,
and other documents as required.
 Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various
levels of management, staff, and clients. Meeting all quotas for cold, active, inactive calls,
appointments, and interviews, meeting or exceeding annual sales goals
 Handle complete sales cycles and create metric based tracking of proposals and targets to
be presented internally to Management;
 Facilitate and assist in closing deals of high-ticket opportunities with the Delivery team
 Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of the sales methods and program and
recalibrate sales strategies to ensure achievement of sales targets
 Create effective sales approach, methods, activities, that will ensure in building high quality
pipeline, close rate, and controlled sales cycle for Goodera’s offerings
 Stay updated on industry, market, competitions and clientele movements and
development especially on those that will affect opportunities and sales targets
 Attend conferences and networking events for lead generation, competition analysis and
Goodera's brand establishment in the industry


Job Requirement
Required Skills and Qualifications:
● Should have 8+years of experience of working with clients/ client facing roles in social sector/ CSR/  NGO.
● Must have good communication skills, willing to travel.
● Exceptional communication and articulation skills (written and verbal) to present - ideas, approaches and solutions.
● Passion for social impact and belief in the impact that can be delivered by purpose-led engagement of the workforce.
● Strong analytical abilities, both quantitative and qualitative.
● Bias for action, high energy, perseverance, low ego and boundaryless behaviour to propel the team and organisation forward
● A strong work ethic and the ability to work autonomously.
