Job Overview
Goodera hosts play a pivotal role in fostering community building and engagement through hosting virtual or in-person volunteering events and activities for our corporate clients. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for volunteers, ensuring that each interaction leaves a lasting positive impression.
Hosts exude a positive attitude and embody professionalism across all aspects of event management, from pre-event preparation to on-site facilitation and post-event follow-up. At Goodera, we place great emphasis on both experience and engagement, and meeting these expectations is key to qualifying as host for our events.

Responsibilities
  • Host Volunteering Events: Lead and facilitate volunteering activities, ensuring smooth execution and a memorable experience for all participants.
  • Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with volunteers, corporate partners, and nonprofit organizations, acting as a liaison to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  • Event Coordination: With support of Goodera’s experience team, coordinate logistics for volunteering events, including venue setup, equipment management, and volunteer registration.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with volunteers and corporate clients, providing clear instructions, updates, and feedback before, during, and after events.
  • Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from participants to assess event effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Training and Development: Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance hosting skills and stay updated on best practices in community engagement and event management.

  • Passion for social impact initiatives and a keen interest in understanding the cause area and community impact of these activities
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities with creative problem solving skills, maintaining a positive attitude and willingness to learn
